This project consisted of two parts: (A) increasing my understanding of Macros and (B) constructing a Dashboard to simplify the opening, saving and closing with saving of the numerous files that I work with. For (A) I submitted a list of specific questions on a Notepad.txt file, leaving space for Adam to insert his answers and Macro code snippets as examples. This allowed me to see the big picture and to better understand the Macro tools that I am using. For (B), Adam produced for me a visually well-designed Dashboard that has increased my efficiency manipulating a dozen of these files. By accomplishing several file operations with one button push instead of several hunt and seek operations, this eliminates much of the tedium of the repetitive work that I do every night.
