At Glowfyre, we strive to ensure satisfaction for both clients and freelancers through our platform. This Return and Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which a client may return work or request a refund, and how a freelancer may be affected by such a request.
1. General Conditions
Our return and refund policy lasts 30 days from the delivery date of the final work or service. If 30 days have gone by since the delivery, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return or refund, the client must demonstrate that the delivered work does not meet the agreed-upon requirements or quality standards as outlined in the project description and agreement between the client and freelancer.
2. Refund Process
To initiate a refund request, the client must:
Contact Glowfyre Support within the 30-day period, providing detailed reasons for the dissatisfaction and any evidence supporting the claim.
Glowfyre will review the submission, which may include mediation between the client and the freelancer to attempt resolution.
If the issue cannot be resolved to the satisfaction of both parties, and Glowfyre determines that the work does not meet the project’s agreed-upon standards, a refund will be processed.
Refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment within a certain amount of days, depending on the payment processor’s policies.
3. Non-refundable Services
Please note that certain types of services cannot be returned or refunded, including:
- Rush orders that were completed on time within the agreed-upon rush period.
- Projects that were completed according to the project description but did not meet the client’s subjective expectations.
- Services that involve third-party costs which cannot be recovered by Glowfyre.
4. Freelancer Protection
Glowfyre is committed to protecting freelancers from fraudulent refund requests. If a freelancer has met all project requirements and delivered quality work according to the agreed-upon terms, Glowfyre will defend the freelancer’s right to payment. Freelancers are encouraged to keep detailed records of their work process and communications to aid in dispute resolution.
5. Modifications to the Policy
Glowfyre reserves the right to modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the new policy on this page. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
